Welcome Autumn!

Straddling between blazing summer and chilly winter, autumn is the "cooling off" season, during which the daytime becomes gradually shorter and temperature dips significantly. Humans work to gather the last of the year’s gifts as part of their preparation for the barren winter ahead. Every season has it own beauty and appeal, autumn is a no exception, when the yellow and orange leaves falling down from trees, the road seems to be paved by a layer of precious gold.  Some landscapes spots in China becomes extraordinarily attractive and appealing during fall season like Jiuzaigou Valley situated in Sichuan province, Southeast China. Autumn in China is also a time full of travelling activities, because from Oct 1-7 is China’s National Day holiday, the 7-day holiday(in some years, it may even be as long as 8 days which includes 1 day off for Mid-autumn Festival that falls on within the 7-day holiday). People take this long holiday as a great chance to go out for sightseeing and travelling in order to unwind the stress from the work. Because of the unique feature of the autumn, there are so many famous quotes about this nice season, here are a few of them:

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”

― Albert Camus

“I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

“I would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion.”

― Henry David Thoreau

“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”

― Lauren DeStefano, Wither
