It’s All About Mother’s Day Flowers!

Although there is still about a couple of weeks from Mother’s Day 2018, it’s never too early to start prepare your Mom a unique gift or flowers she loves. This year, Mother’s Day falls on May 13, so let’s get hurry to find some of the best flowers and gifts for your dearest mom, grandmother, aunts or any woman in your life who deserves a special honoring in this special occasion.

Speaking of the gifts for Mother’s Day, flower is definitely the number one choice for most people as Mother’s Day has long been synonymous with flowers.. Who dose not love to receive a beautiful bunch of blooms either arranged with a wrapping or in a vase? But do you know what is the typical flower or what flower is the most representative for the day? In fact, the tradition of giving carnations, and then eventually wearing them as corsages, began all the way back at the inception of the American version of the holiday. Why? Well, carnations were the favorite flower of founder Anna Jarvis’ mother. Anna Jarvis arrived at the first Mother’s Day celebration in 1908 with 500 of these gorgeous flowers!

But as time goes on, the tradition has evolved and changed a bit since those early days, and now there is less restriction in selecting the type of flower your mother receives. Rather than concerning yourself with the type of flower Mrs. Jarvis’ mother loved the sender may focus more on the type of flower your mother loves.

Depends on where you live, the choice for Mother’s Day flower is likely to be different. For example, in China, carnation is still the most selected blossom on this day, followed by rose, lily and other types of commonly seen varieties. For other Eastern Asia regions, the practice are pretty much similar that carnation, rose, lily or mixed arrangement of these three type blooms dominates the choice for mother’s day flower.

What is your favorite type of flowers for this Mother’s Day?
