There are two major festivals in Japan that are also the peak seasons for sending gift: Japanese Ghost Festival and New Year’s Day. The Ghost Festival is normally started from early July and ended at mid July, last about one week, foreigners also called this festival as Japanese Christmas Day, which indicate the importance of the festival among Japanese culture.
