For westerners, they may not know much about the White Day which is actually a holiday celebrated on March 14 each year. We all know, Valentines’ Day falls on Feb 14, man send gifts to women, and women send gift to man to express their affections and love on this special holiday, White Day is one month later than Valentines’ Day, it is also a holiday for “loving”. It was originated from Japan about 30 years ago. On this day, man usually send a gift to women from whom they received the gifts, chocolates or flowers on Valentines’ Day, as in Japan, Valentine's Day is typically observed by girls and women presenting chocolate gifts (either store-bought or handmade), usually to boys or men, as an expression of love, courtesy, or social obligation. Eventually, this practice spread to the neighboring East Asian countries of South Korea, China, and Taiwan. In those cultures, White Day is for the most part observed in the same manner.
